Trujillo and chan Chan 02 days

ACTIVITIES:
TRUJILLO AND CHAN CHAN ITINERARY
 Day 01: Trujillo - Huaca del Sol - Huaca de la Luna - Chan Chan - Huanchaco
We will pick you up from your hotel adn go south. After 15 minutes we will arrive at the ceremonial center called The Huaca or Temple of the Sun. It is a scaled pyramid measuring approximately 43 m. in height which, according to tradition, was built in only three days by 250,000 men, using approximately 70 million adobes. The we will visit the Huaca or Temple of the Moon, located 500 m. from the previous structure. It is a monument comprised of overlapping temples built during different periods.
In the afternoon we will visit the Complex of Chan Chan. This citadel was added as a Unesco World Heritage Site in 1986. It is still affected every year by the erosion. You will have a lot of time to explore this big place and after, we will go to Huanchaco beach where you will sleep tonight.
Day 02: Huanchaco - Huaca del Brujo - Trujillo
After breakfast we will have a nice walk through the beach, watching the fishermen getting inside the ocean in the reed horses.
Once we leave Huanchaco we will go to the norht part of Trujillo and visit the Archaeological complex of El Brujo, one of the most important temples. Excavations at the El Brujo complex have revealed evidence of human sacrifice, most probably made to the "Decapitator" god Aia-Paec.
In the afternoon we are going back to Trujillo city.(1B)
