This is a fantastic alternative to the standard Inca Trail. The good thing about this trail is that it includes different kinds of activity! The biking down is not that scary, the whole road is paved. But it is a fun and energy saving adventure. Besides that the landscape you pass by is amazing. Take some time to stop every now and then to take pictures! The second day is about five hours not so tough walking, again through amazing landscape! The thermal baths are very rewarding afterwards! The third day takes you to undiscovered ruines and with nice viewes of Machu Picchu, though a bit far away. However nice the first three days might have been, it cannot challenge the superiority of standing at the lost city of the Inca's and explore the whole site! If you take this trail, ask for Carlos and you will have a good time!

Nous avons fait l'Inka Jungle Trek à destination du Machu Picchu (4 jours et 3 nuits) et nous avons vraiment adoré la descente en VTT de la "death road" péruvienne ainsi que les journées de marche à travers les merveilleux paysages andins. Notre aventure dans la jungle a même été ponctuée d'un match de foot contre des locaux...
Le troisième jour de marche nous étions vraiment en plein coeur des mythiques montagnes incas Machu Picchu et Huayna Picchu. Ce trek nous laissera des souvenirs inoubliables, nous nous sommes, pendant quelques jours, sentis dans la peau d'Indiana Jones...
Les guides étaient vraiment sympas, très professionnels et connaissaient parfaitement les lieux. On ne peut que vous conseiller de vous lancer dans l'aventure avec Landscape Peru !!

We went to Peru two years ago to meet my daughter who was living in Ollantaytambo and working with the local communities. Our travel was planned on line and organized by Luis in an extremely satisfactory way. In two weeks we touched different realities and got a fairly complete impression of that beautiful country. Our tour began in Arequipa with its beautiful monastery and included a wonderful tour of Canyon del Colca and Titicaca lake, then we flew to Cuzco and we visited the town and the sacred valley with its many ancient ruins, among which of course Machu Picchu. In the sacred valley our daughter joined me, my husband and one of my sons and all together we had a four days’ trekking to the dead town of Choquequirao, an incredible experience in a stunning landscape along a path walked by the Incas hundred of years ago and still feasible only on foot or on a mule. Finally we had a glimpse of the Amazonian forest staying in a natural reserve for a couple of days and shortly visited Lima before flying back home. We were accompanied by Luis for part of the travel and by some of his co-workers for another part; our guides were always very kind and extremely professional and the lodgings in local hostels, some belonging to Luis, pleasant. Places were always clean and proper and with a special local taste and meals included in the tour were very carefully chosen and delicious. Also the trekking was well organized and although of course things were more primitive, tents were neatly prepared and comfortable and there was also the possibility of a shower. I would heartily recommend Luis for the organization of a visit to Peru with lot of fun and no bad surprises.

Se fut un moment tres agreable et tres instructif, merci pour cette excurssion au paysage magnifique de ce canyon gigantesque , nous avons meme pu apercevoir des condors ...
Je vous recommande cette excursion qui est absolument a faire surtout en companie de cette agence !!! Pour sur vous n allez pas le regreter!!!

When my brother and I first thought about going to Peru, we were overwhelmed with the tidbits of information we got from each Website. Fortunatelly we did not choose badly and end in the hands of professional people in Landscape Peru. We spent a terrific time with Luis and enjoy the biking trip, the towns along the way, inca ruins, everything was perfect.
