ACTIVITIES:
ITINERARY HUARURO COLCA CANYON TREK
Day 01 Arequipa - Cabanaconde
 Pick up from the hotel at 03:30 am in private car. We follow the northern motorway surrounding the Chachani Volcano and afterwards we are going to enter the National Reserve of Salinas y Aguada Blanca and continue then our way to Colca Valley. We arrive at Cabanaconde in the morning and have time for breakfast.
After breakfast we start our trek leading to Llahuar, walking for about 5 hours into the canyon and crossing the Colca river where we may see (if the river is not so high) some little geysers. Crossing the hanging bridge we need 1 more hour to arrive at Lahuar. Once there you can enjoy the hot springs, relax close to the river or take a walk around the area.
We sleep in bungalows tonight (B, L, D).
Day 02 Llahuar – Fure - Huaruro Waterfall - Fure
After breakfast we start the day going to Llatica village and then Fure walking for about 3 1/2 hours. We will have a box lunch here.
Once we arrive at Fure we can leave part of our luggage and then continue for a couple of hours to Huaruro Waterfalls getting the place as close as possible to take nice pictures.
After enough time resting and watching this beautiful waterfall we go back to Fure where we stay tonight in bungalows (B, BL, D).
Day 03: Fure - Paclla – Sangalle
After breakfast we will go for about 4 hours to get the place called Sangalle, known as well as the Oasis, here you will enjoy the swimming pool at the bottom of the canyon and you will havetime to relax or explore the area by yourself.
We sleep here in bungalows. (B, L, D).
Day 04 Sangalle – Cabanaconde – Arequipa:
Today we start our three hours trek uphill to Cabanaconde so we need to wake up very early. In case you are feeling tired it is possible to rent a mule.
We get to Cabanaconde and enjoy a delicious breakfast after the trek. Our car is waiting for us here ready to go to Condor cross to see the condors flying through the Colca Canyon, here we wait for them. It will be a stunning show you won´t forget. On the way back to Chivay we can stop in different viewpoints as well as the towns of the Valley.
In Chivay and before lunch we can enjoy the hot springs of La Calera. After lunch we go back to Arequipa and arrive at 6 pm approximately. (B).
