Horse Riding Maras and Moray 02 days Cusco Peru

ACTIVITIES:
ITINERARY HORSERIDING MARAS MORAY
 Cusco - Maras salt mines - Maras town - Tiobamba
We will pick up you from your hotel in the morning to take you to the town of Urubamba.
From here we will start to ride our horses crossing the Urubamba river and going up to visit the impresive salt mines of Maras. This unique pictoresque spot close to the sacred valley has been used by the inkas and now a days the people from Maras town and Pichicoto are in charge of its explotation.
After we keep going to Maras Town where we will find noblemen shields from the colonial times. we will keep going to Tiobamba where we will rest the first night in the highland. (1BL, 1D)
Tiobamba - Huaypo lake - Moray - Cusco
After breakfast in Tiobamba, we will continuing to visit the ruins of Chekoq (cold storage depots). Cooling of the products was achieved by using a genius system of underground air-circulation. The next stop will be the Huaypo Lake, there will have lunch with spectacular scenery of snow-capped mountains, wildflowers and beautiful mountain lakes.
After lunch we ride to Moray terraces. Moray presents a high quantity of agricultural constructions such as platforms, waterways and paths that indicate us their function as a experimental agriculture zone. This construction presents 4 groups of concentric platforms slightly ecliptic, so they obtain several levels above the sea that were used to improve the farming. After Moray we will take you back to Cusco.(1 B, 1BL)
